Laser therapy is a therapeutic technique which uses laser light to facilitate the body’s healing processes. It is painless, non-invasive and can be used to accelerate cutaneous wound healing and to treat various musculoskeletal disorders entailing inflammation, edema and pain.

The main therapeutic effects of laser light used in vet physiotherapy and rehabilitation are the anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-edema and biostimulating effect.

The biostimulating activity facilitates the repairing and the cicatrization of tissues thanks to the increased supply of oxygen and nutrients, the modulation of cell proliferation and differentiation, the activation of cell functions and the modulation
of the organization of proteins of the extracellular matrix.
